Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab/IR RN

Profession: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 10 hours

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, COVID Vaccine Required

Must-Have: Experience in Cath Lab and IR procedures

Description:

The unit consists of 3 suites and averages 8-10 cases per day.

The role involves procedure set up, circulating the procedure, administering sedation, and monitoring patients throughout the procedure.

The RN will be responsible for hemodynamic monitoring, which takes place outside the main procedure room in the control room.

The control room features a window for patient visibility but requires the nurse to float between the procedure room and control room.

The Cath/IR lab functions with a 3-person team.

Must be comfortable providing procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring.

The candidate must have mixed lab experience to be successful.

Prior travel experience is preferred.

The position will cover evening call 1-2 times per week and 1-2 weekends per month.

Call starts after the normal day shift ends.

Holiday call requirements include 1 major and 1 minor holiday.

Floating requirements are not applicable.

Scrub color and dress code will be provided.

Unit-specific orientation will be included, and call rotation will not start until the 3rd week.
