- Assess and inter p ret p atients' p sych iatric status and behavioral p resentation
- Collaborate with the interdisci p linary team to develo p and im p lement p sych iatric intervention p lans
- Administer p sych otro p ic medications and monitor for thera p eutic res p onse or adverse effects
- Build and maintain a p ositive, thera p eutic nurse- p atient relationshi p to su p p ort emotional stability
- Monitor adherence to non- p harmacological treatment p lans and behavioral interventions
- Identify and remove environmental triggers or safety risks
- Safely restrain, de-escalate, or medicate highly agitated p atients when clinically necessary
- Document p atient p rogress, behavioral changes, and treatment outcomes
- P rovide targeted p sych oeducation to p atients and families
Job Requirements:Job Requirements: - Active New York RN license (required - NY only)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Telemetry experience required
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity environments
- Ability to work 48 hours per week schedule
