Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial problems
  • Perform rapid triage on patients upon arrival in the Emergency Department
  • Assign appropriate triage levels based on brief medical histories and vital signs
  • Document nursing history and physical examinations consistently
  • Monitor and document patients' basic physiological conditions, including mental status and pain levels
  • Address patients' psychosocial needs and gather their perceptions regarding health issues
  • Understand patients' expectations regarding their hospitalization process

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Initials accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems of patient.
  • Performs appropriate and age specific triage on all patients within 5 minutes of arrival to ED including chief complaint, v.s., time and signature.
  • Assignment of level of triage as appropriate based on brief history and indicated vital signs. Performs and documents appropriate nursing history and physical admission on an ongoing basis.
  • Performs and documents age specific basic physiological condition of the patient to include; mental status, skin signs, pain level and complaint specific information.
  • Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient.
  • Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization.
