Qualifications

• Active RN license with a focus on perioperative care
• 2+ years of experience in PACU nursing
• Training in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support
• Familiarity with anesthesia protocols and postoperative care requirements
• Excellent communication and patient assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and consciousness levels post-anesthesia
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by the physician
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during recovery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient progress and intervene in emergencies as needed
