Qualifications

• Valid RN license with oncology specialty certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on oncology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess patient conditions and administer treatment
• Familiarity with chemotherapy and immunotherapy protocols
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Capacity to educate patients and families on complex medical information

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to oncology patients undergoing treatment
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Assist in coordinating care transitions for oncology patients
• Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust care as needed
• Document patient care and treatment accurately and timely
