Weekly Working Hours: 36-hours/week

Shift: 12-hour Day/Night rotations or straight nights - RN's do 6 weeks of self-scheduling

Job Details & Qualifications:

The Medical ICU at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit specializing in the care of a high acuity patient population with complex medical diagnoses. The majority of our diagnoses include, but are not limited to: end stage renal & hepatic disease, multisystem organ failure, newly diagnosed or existing autoimmune & pulmonary disorders, the critically ill antepartum/ postpartum patient, the critically ill oncology patient. Only ICU RN's with at least one year of recent experience should apply. Our nurses provide mechanical ventilation, ECMO, cardiac support, dialysis, IV titration adn more.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6-months RN ICU experience required; 1-year high acuity RN ICU/MICU experience preferred
  • Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
  • BSN (preferred) and applicants w/an ADN in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program.
  • Basic CPR upon hire required
  • Active RN license upon hire required

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
