Full Job Description
Responsibilities

You love what you do, now love where you do it.

You will be joining an amazing Medical ICU nursing team that is always ready to take care of any patient. In our 24 bed ICU, you will be working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to complex patients with a multitude of diagnoses including sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, ARDS, heart failure, MI, cardiac abnormalities, and stroke.

You should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have the desire to work closely with other disciplines.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency required


Licenses and Certifications
  • RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required


Additional Certification Requirements
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
