Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director is responsible for leadership of the clinical service areas assigned to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The service areas are centered on the care of the patients on a continuum related to the patient care event.
Responsibilities include clinical, financial, environmental and employee related functions in that service area.
The Director is expected to be professional, a role model, great communicator, and relationship builder with the staff, customers and physicians.
The Director is expected to be a patient and nursing advocate at all times.
The Director will oversee managers in each service area and be responsible for day to day operations, staffing, standard of care, standard of practice, hiring of new staff, education processes, and discipline.
What qualifications you will need:
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Graduate from a school of nursing. Masters degree preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: Current MO license or Multistate license from a participating compact state, current BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience
