Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager Breast Care Center coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Women's Diagnostic Center, including supervising of Mammographers, Sonographers, and support staff and other duties that might be relevant to the overall function of the WDC. The Manager is also involved in the budgetary aspects of the Department including Personnel, Operational and Capital. The Manager performs imaging exams on patients while also providing an unequaled level of measurable quality and productivity in the delivery of these exams and services, which are responsive to the needs and values of the Customer. The Manager will also maintain strong relationships with Radiologists and work to maintain all required state and federal registries and ACR accreditations. Other duties include: ensuring department provides the highest level of patient satisfaction as well as work to cultivate a warm culture with high staff engagement, ensuring staff have the equipment and supplies to perform their job, and ensuring the department strictly adheres to all Joint Commission Standards. What qualifications you will need:

Education: Graduate of Accredited AMA Program with Certificate or Degree in Radiology required; Must maintain minimum CEU's to maintain Registration with ARRT in Mammography.

Licensure/Certifications: ARRT Registered with advanced registration in Mammography required; BLS certification required upon hire

Experience: Previous supervisory experience required; 3+ years Mammography Department/Clinic operations required

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care with a Level II Trauma Center and full stroke care, as well as a nationally recognized Burn Center that is one of the largest in the country and offers advanced wound care. It also delivers advanced heart care for patients experiencing heart attacks. In addition, the hospital supports maternity and women's health with a Baby-Friendly designation, a Level II NICU, and a certified Women's Diagnostic Center. Surgical services include specialized care in orthopedic procedures like hip and knee replacements and spinal fusion surgeries. The hospital also operates Doctors Hospital Evans Emergency, a freestanding emergency room that is open 24/7 and provides advanced imaging and lab services.

It is accredited by the American College of Radiology for radiation oncology services and by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program for bariatric surgery. Its inpatient rehabilitation facility is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities in the Central Savannah River Area. The hospital's laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, and its Center for Stroke Care is accredited by The Joint Commission. Its electroencephalogram (EEG) laboratory is accredited by the Laboratory Accreditation Board of ABRET.
