LDRP Registered Nurse, you'll play an essential role in guiding mothers, newborns, and families through every stage of the birth experience. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to practice a broad scope of nursing, caring for patients during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care.
You'll work closely with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, compassionate, family-centered care while supporting positive outcomes for both mothers and babies.
What You'll Do- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Provide expert nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with established standards
- Delegate and coordinate care appropriately among team members
- Support quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives
- Pursue ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
- Maintain competencies to support both Obstetrics and PACU as needed
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience as a staff nurse, or willingness to complete orientation to competency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire or transfer
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Mother/Baby, or Newborn nursing experience
