Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients Assessment, Planning,Implementation,Evaluation
Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.
Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, which would include an assessment of psychosocial needs.
Demonstrates knowledge and safe operation of equipment pertinent to patient care and unit management.
Job Requirements
Required
- Minimum of 6 months to one (1) year of work experience.
- Registered Nurse: CA RN
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP, within 30 Days
