Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Familiarity with image-guided procedures
• Skilled in PICC line insertions
• Ability to assess and manage patient care plans
• Knowledge of first-aid techniques and emergency preparedness
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
• Assist in the performance of minimally invasive surgeries
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient vital signs pre-and post-procedure
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Implement and manage vascular access placements
• Educate patients and families on procedure processes and recovery
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
