RN Hospice Clinical Director

The RN Hospice Director of Clinical Services will lead the delivery of direct and indirect patient-care services, support and develop clinical supervisors and field clinicians, and ensure the organization consistently provides compliant, high-quality, patient-centered hospice care.

This position is well suited for an RN leader who understands both the clinical and operational sides of hospice and can effectively balance patient care, staffing, regulatory compliance, team development, productivity, and organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license..
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Advanced nursing or healthcare leadership education is preferred.
  • Hospice leadership or management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop clinical and administrative personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare hospice regulations, clinical documentation, quality improvement, and accreditation standards.
  • Understanding of hospice operations, staffing, productivity, census management, and interdisciplinary care.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
