Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Rhode Island
• Experience in a GI Lab or similar environment
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and patient care protocols
• Current BLS certification required
• Clinical experience in nursing of at least 2 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
• Provide patient education and support before and after procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit
