Providence is calling for applications for our November 2026 RN Case Management Fellowship at Providence Saint Johns Health Center.

An RN Fellow at Providence will experience a guided transition into their new specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors and hands-on learning. If you are an RN ready to transition to a new specialty and have more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience, the Providence Clinical Academy is for you.

The RN Fellowship position starts on November 2, 2026.

Position available: Full-Time, Day shifts

The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient centric care management services for at risk patients in an acute care environment. Accountabilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/ or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance and patient advocacy. The goal of the Inpatient Care Management RN is to ensure the use of appropriate healthcare resources throughout the continuum, so that the care provided is the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in nursing degree/diploma upon hire
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
  • Within 1 year of hire: Successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program
  • 2 years of Acute care experience in a Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher within 3 years of hire
  • Upon hire: Case Management Certification (ACM or CCM)
