Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Profession: Registered Nurse

Shift: Day Shift
Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience in an acute care setting required.
License: Registered Nurse License required.
Certifications: BLS required, BSN highly desired.
Must-Have:
Must live 100 miles away.
3 years or more of endoscopy experience is required.
Travel experience preferred.
Description:
Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patient's needs.
Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment required by patients.
Makes initial assessments and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
Completes admission assessments within the time frame established, according to policy and procedures.
Call is on a rotation split between two RNs and two Techs.
Shift schedule:
Mondays: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Tuesdays: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Wednesdays: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Thursdays: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Fridays: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
