Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways, which includes notifying physicians as appropriate
  • Formulates a plan of care for individual needs, including patient population needs. Participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options)
  • Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content. Integrates education during the delivery of patient care
  • Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems. Performs efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols, appropriate communication and documentation
  • Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience
  • Recognizes the need for continued education and consults with unit leadership to develop and implement educational goals which includes identifying leadership attributes
