Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others.   • Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways, which includes notifying physicians as appropriate
  • Formulates a plan of care for individual needs, including patient population needs. Participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options)
  • Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content. Integrates education during the delivery of patient care
  • Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems. Performs efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols, appropriate communication and documentation
  • Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience
  • Recognizes the need for continued education and consults with unit leadership to develop and implement educational goals which includes identifying leadership attributes

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current endoscopy procedural experience required NOTE: If operationally able, will consider training opportunities for those with no endoscopy procedural experience)
  • Conscious sedation and physician relation skills required
  • Associate's of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required
  • Current California RN license required
  • Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
