Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal care.
  • Monitors medical condition of patients and works within scope of practice.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, by implementing ED policies and procedures.
  • Provides care in accordance with mission/philosophy of MMCMS, and as they would like their family to be cared for.
  • Assesses and reassesses and remains attentive, so that all patient needs are met.
  • Expedites ED processes by providing professional, efficient patient care and implements Standardized Procedures whenever possible thereby improving patient satisfaction.

Required

  • Education sufficient to obtain a California Registered Nurse license. and RN experience in an acute care facility., upon hire
  • Two year minimum requirement of critical care experience within the last 3 years.
  • One year experience in an acute care facility
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months

Preferred

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Emergency Room experience preferred over other critical areas., upon hire
  • Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire and
  • Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute, upon hire
