Position Summary
Lasting Impressions MO LLC is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our RN Clinical Services Manager.
This leadership role serves as the primary clinical leader for the organization and oversees clinical systems, nursing delegation, healthcare coordination, HRST implementation, medication administration systems, medical compliance, and health-related quality initiatives across multiple residential homes supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The RN Clinical Services Manager works closely with the organization's LPN, Residential Success Leads, Direct Support Professionals, healthcare providers, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional health outcomes, effective healthcare coordination, and regulatory compliance.
This position maintains a strong field presence through attendance at medical appointments, home visits, staff training, clinical reviews, and direct collaboration with residential teams to ensure healthcare recommendations are understood, implemented, and monitored effectively.

Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Health Services Coordination
Accountable for:
- Overseeing clinical systems and healthcare coordination across residential homes.
- Collaborating closely with the organization's LPN to ensure continuity of healthcare services.
- Monitoring overall health and wellness of individuals served.
- Providing clinical oversight and support for health-related initiatives and concerns.
- Coordinating healthcare services and follow-up care.
- Assisting with complex healthcare needs and higher-risk individuals.
- Reviewing health concerns and providing clinical guidance to staff and leadership.
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, therapists, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
- Supporting implementation of physician recommendations within residential settings.
- Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and person-centered planning processes.
Nursing Delegation & Clinical Oversight
Accountable for:
- Serving as the organization's Delegating RN.
- Overseeing nursing delegation activities in accordance with Missouri regulations.
- Conducting required nursing assessments and reviews.
- Performing required monthly nursing visits.
- Monitoring delegated nursing tasks and services.
- Ensuring nursing documentation remains compliant and current.
- Maintaining medication administration competency systems.
- Supporting safe medication administration practices throughout the organization.
- Providing nursing consultation and guidance to staff and leadership.
HRST Management & Health Risk Reduction
Accountable for:
- Leading implementation and oversight of the Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST).
- Ensuring HRST assessments remain current and accurate.
- Developing and monitoring health risk action plans.
- Identifying trends and opportunities for risk reduction.
- Collaborating with residential leadership to improve health outcomes.
- Supporting health-related quality improvement initiatives.
Medical Appointments & Healthcare Advocacy
Accountable for:
- Attending medical appointments as needed with individuals served and home staff.
- Supporting communication between healthcare providers and residential teams.
- Advocating for individuals during healthcare appointments.
- Ensuring physician recommendations are accurately understood and implemented.
- Coordinating follow-up care and treatment plans.
- Monitoring completion of healthcare-related action items following appointments.
Medical Records & Documentation
Accountable for:
- Overseeing medical record systems and clinical documentation.
- Ensuring physician orders are current and implemented appropriately.
- Monitoring healthcare documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting readiness for audits, reviews, and inspections.
- Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Medication Administration Systems
Accountable for:
- Overseeing medication management systems.
- Monitoring medication administration practices and trends.
- Assisting with medication-related investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintaining medication administration competency systems.
- Supporting safe medication administration throughout the organization.
- Monitoring medication-related risks and trends.
Staff Development & Clinical Training
Accountable for:
- Providing healthcare-related education and guidance to employees.
- Supporting development of healthcare-related competencies.
- Assisting with implementation of clinical training programs.
- Serving as a clinical resource for Residential Success Leads and Direct Support Professionals.
- Supporting ongoing development of staff knowledge and confidence regarding healthcare needs.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Accountable for:
- Ensuring compliance with Missouri Department of Mental Health regulations and organizational policies.
- Monitoring clinical quality indicators and trends.
- Assisting with incident review and follow-up related to medical concerns.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting organizational readiness for audits, reviews, and surveys.
On-Call Clinical Support
Accountable for:
- Providing consultation and guidance regarding medical questions and concerns outside normal office hours as needed.
- Assisting with urgent healthcare situations and decision-making.
- Supporting staff and leadership during health-related emergencies.
- Participating in occasional evening or weekend trainings, appointments, meetings, or organizational needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum three years of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel between residential homes and healthcare appointments.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings.
Preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience with HRST.
- Experience in residential services, community-based services, case management, or developmental disability services.
- Experience leading teams or managing clinical systems.
- Familiarity with Missouri Department of Mental Health regulations and developmental disability services.
