Position SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator II serves as a key member of the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) team, coordinating patient care throughout the fertility treatment journey with a primary focus on third-party reproductive medicine and IVF care. This role partners closely with physicians to support treatment planning, educate patients, manage complex fertility care coordination, and guide individuals and families through every stage of the IVF process.
This position serves as a clinical resource within the specialty, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional patient support, and continuity of care. The coordinator will manage a high volume of patient communication through the MyChart portal, providing guidance related to fertility treatments, medication management, and treatment timelines.
Schedule & Location
• Hybrid schedule: Work from home 2 days per week
• On-site 3 days per week at the 4444 Forest Park
The Successful Candidate Will:
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong ability to manage multiple patient cases and treatment plans simultaneously
• Experience coordinating complex patient care and navigating treatment protocols
• Previous OB/GYN experience preferred
• Fertility treatment coordination experience strongly preferred
• Candidates with gynecologic oncology or other women's health nursing backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities: - Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients including observations and recommendations. Conveys findings to provider.
- Coordinates patient care, assists providers with entering treatment/therapy plans in EMR, orders diagnostic testing, conveys findings to provider, coordinates patient appointments, and assists with referrals to outside sources.
- Assists provider with examination, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Performs a variety of nursing administrative duties including compliance with environmental safety regulations, infection control standards, and quality assurance.
- Serves as a liaison and team leader by facilitating communication and coordination of care between patients, families, and healthcare team members. Provides appropriate education to patients/families explaining medications, which may include initial chemotherapy teaching, procedures, and ensures continuity of care for patients.
- Onboards new coordinators.
- Reviews EPIC treatment plans for new order sets and clinical trials.
- Serves as Epic Trainer.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

More About This JobRequired Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with three years of clinical nurse coordinator experience.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with the Compact Act.
- Basic Life Support Certification or obtains certification within one month of employment. Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements.

Salary Range$68,700.00 - $123,600.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
