Clinical Manager LTC Unit
Job Summary:
As the Clinical Manager of one of our LTC units, you'll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your strong clinical leadership and support of the interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the rehab unit, guide and mentor nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
• Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient care to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff to improve clinical skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
• Identify and address any variances in patient care and implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to patient care and facility operations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a clinical management or nursing leadership role
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some on call weekends
