RN, Clinical Manager | Outpatient Surgery Center
Location: La Crosse, WI
Schedule: Full-time | Days (typically 7:00 AM 6 3:00 PM with flexibility, Monday 6Friday)
Position Overview
The Clinical Manager provides leadership and oversight for the delivery of specialized clinical services throughout the Outpatient Surgery Center. This role is responsible for day-to-day operations, employee performance management, and achieving departmental and organizational goals through strong clinical and operational partnerships.
Working collaboratively with the Administrative Director of Anesthesia, Hospital and Outpatient Surgery, this leader supports operational excellence, quality outcomes, staff engagement, and exceptional patient care across a growing outpatient surgical environment.
What You9ll Do
Provide operational and clinical leadership for approximately 80 team members, including Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technologists, Perioperative Technicians, and OR Supply Technicians
Oversee daily operations, staffing, quality, patient safety, and employee engagement initiatives
Collaborate with the Administrative Director, physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary leaders to achieve strategic goals
Support growth initiatives focused on expanding outpatient surgical services and improving patient access
Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability and professional growth
Drive process improvement efforts focused on quality outcomes, patient experience, and operational excellence
Create an environment that promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care
What You9ll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor9s degree in a health-related field
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
5-7 years of RN experience demonstrating leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor9s degree in Nursing
Previous management experience
Experience in surgical services, perioperative services, or ambulatory surgery settings
Experience partnering with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
