This job oversees the pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or inpatient transplant clinical practice. Acts as a patient advocate and patient educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation. Serves as an integral member of the transplant team, assisting the transplant physicians by independently monitoring certain patients, managing outpatient clinics and periodically reviewing all patients with the physicians. Work Experience Required - 3 years of related experience with associate degree OR 2 years related experience with a bachelor's degree. Certifications Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. Preferred - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) through the American Board of Transplant Certification (ABTC).
