Qualifications

• Active RN license in relevant state
• Experience in Cath Lab or cardiac nursing
• Proficient in heart catheterization techniques
• Certification in ACLS required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare staff

Responsibilities

• Perform catheterizations to diagnose heart conditions
• Assist in the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators
• Support physicians during angioplasty and stent placements
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
• Educate patients about procedures and care post-surgery
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately
• Maintain sterile environments and follow safety protocols
