Under the general supervision of the physician and/or Director of Invasive Cardiology, the Cardiac Cath. Lab. Nurse is responsible for assessing nursing needs and initiating appropriate Intervention for Adult and Geriatric patients in Cardiac Cath. Lab, Department as required. Maintains standards of nursing care and practice of the Nursing Department. 10-hour shift (Mon-Fri) Rotational On-call required. • Graduate from an approved school of nursing. BCLS, ACLS ,IABP Certification. Complete IV Certification course and Telemetry certification as per Medical Center policy. • Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment desirable. • A minimum of one (1) year previous acute care experience is required to qualify for sign-on bonus(*) • Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing; 1-2 Years Critical care experience required. • Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model and function independently with minimal supervision. • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of New Jersey. • BLS, ACLS, IABP required.PALS certification and experience in EKG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring. • PTCA experience preferred. • Competitive pay • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401k with Company match • Generous paid time off • Paid Holidays • Tuition Reimbursement • Advancement and career development opportunities Influenza Vaccination is a requirement for employment at CarePoint Health.
