Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RMF Assessment & Authorization Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting the Navy's Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of advanced simulation and training systems, playing a vital part in the Navy's cybersecurity posture.
As an RMF Assessment & Authorization Analyst, you will support the implementation and maintenance of information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, system/network administration, patch management, and compliance with DoD and Navy policies. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure all systems meet rigorous security standards, directly contributing to the operational effectiveness and security of Navy training environments.
This is a customer facing role, coordinating with multiple partner organization, managing technical effort and reporting status on efforts to achieve Authority To Operate (ATO) approval for multiple programs/products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support RMF Assessment & Authorization activities for Navy simulation and training systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity safeguards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
- Administer and support system/network security, including server and workstation setup, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Track and support Certification and Accreditation (C&A) efforts, IA Workforce management, and overall coordination of IT/IA approvals.
- Support continuous monitoring of NSWCCD training systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security issues and support the accreditation of new and existing systems.
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with Navy and DoD requirements.
Required Education
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
Required Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test and Evaluation (T&E), or Assessment and Authorization (A&A) (formerly C&A) related field.
- Five (5) years of experience with Information Assurance tools such as DISA eMASS, ACAS, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and influencing complex projects.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (or higher).
Desired Experience
- DoD Compliant Cyber Certifications: CCNA, Security +, CISSP, etc.
- Full Security Control Assessor qualification

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
