Job Profile Summary:The core function of this role is to produce reports for our retail and institutional clients and work on reporting-based projects. You will have close working relationships with the Performance and Risk team as well as dealing with many other teams in the firm such as the investment teams, compliance, sales, and new product teams.
Responsibilities:- Report on a wide range of funds from Long Only, Long/Short, Credit and Managed Futures to name a few. Many of these reports are produced monthly
- Provide an explanation of the effect of market movements on the performance of our product range and include performance, contribution/attribution, and exposure data
- Publish performance newsletters that keep the company and clients informed of key performance movements on flagship funds and overview newsletters of content engine performance and outlooks on a weekly basis
- The successful individual will gain a deep understanding of the hedge fund business and develop their performance and risk skills. We're looking for someone who is capable of challenging current procedures and can accommodate the increasing demands for transparency from our institutional investors
Key Skills & Experience:- Recent graduate with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Good understanding and a clear interest in financial markets
- Relevant experience/internships at an investment management firm is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage own workload and take responsibility for tasks
- Effective time management is essential to manage your allocation of work across the business
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
- Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for data extraction, manipulation, validation, and control
- Advanced Excel skills
The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
