Job Description:

Intro:

The Risk & Compliance Professional supports the business by ensuring alignment with enterprise ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control expectations. This role evaluates internal controls, identifies potential risks, supports compliance programs, and helps resolve non-compliance issues while enabling risk-based decision making and operational continuity.

What You Will Do:
  • Execute and monitor compliance programs, internal controls, and regulatory requirements across the business.
  • Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate vulnerabilities and strengthen processes.
  • Support key compliance activities, including third-party management, trade compliance, data privacy, and internal reviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on compliance requirements, screening activities, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver reporting, analysis, and ad hoc support to enable risk-based decision making and ensure operational continuity.
  • Participate in compliance reviews and audit activities while supporting regulatory and internal compliance programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and report compliance-related data to identify trends, risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Support planning and execution of compliance initiatives while coordinating with stakeholders and tracking progress.

What You Have :
  • Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling exposure to compliance and regulatory risks; ability to apply risk management practices across business activities.
  • Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance; ability to support compliance programs in a business environment.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine root causes and develop practical solutions.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit and interpret information across stakeholders.

What Will Set You Apart :
  • Experience with business process improvement, process mapping, workflow analysis, and process performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of third-party management, trade compliance, data privacy, and internal review activities.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build cross-functional partnerships and resolve compliance challenges.
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives through project management, stakeholder coordination, and status reporting.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate compliance-related data in a clear and actionable manner.


Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
