Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Contribute to operational risk analysis activities (RCSA, projects)
- Recommend mitigation measures for identified risks
- Develop cross-functional tools and methodologies
- Support stakeholders in:
- Drafting procedures
- Identifying risks
- Conducting objective reviews of risk assessments and testing
- Identifying mitigation measures
- Gather inputs and ensure production of risk indicators and reliability targets
- Participate in defining methodologies, assessment scales, and tools for risk identification and evaluation
- Ensure comprehensive process coverage through frameworks: policies, procedures, and methodologies
- Inventory processes, tools, and systems
- Participate in assessing risks applicable to each process
- Determine each process's exposure level to identified risks (RCSA)
- Assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures (controls)
- Determine residual risks
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities; identify and propose risk treatment measures
- Support incident management and ensure notification to the Bank of Canada and escalation when required
- Track operational losses
- Monitor reliability indicators and targets
- Ensure reporting related to operational risk (annual report, incident report, project analysis report)
- Demonstrate openness to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and act as a change ambassador to support adoption within teams

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
