About the Position:We are presently seeking to fill a Right of Way Agent A position at our Buffalo location, with a minimum starting pay rate of $47.23/hr. In addition, we offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plan, vacation, tuition assistance and more.
Under general supervision to perform such duties as:
- Secure land and rights of way for all types of distribution lines and structures;
- Obtain licenses and permits for all types of lines and structures, including cutting, trimming, guying and surveying rights;
- Assist employees of a higher classification in securing land and rights of way for all types of transmission lines and structures as may be required;
- Make title searches, work on title records and maps and settle small claims against the Company resulting from construction activities.
Job Qualifications:- Knowledge of or training in commercial law;
- Knowledge of Company policies and practices relating to the duties to be performed;
- Ability to successfully contact persons from whom land and rights are to be acquired;
- Must be able to qualify as a Notary Public.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy
Pay Rate: $47.23/hrNational Grid will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future. You must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Newly hired employees are bound by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement as well as other agreements between the Company and the local union.
