DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position supports key public health initiatives that improve oral health outcomes across the Commonwealth. As a Public Health Program Administrator, you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Oversight: Manage grant agreements, budgets, and monitoring activities that comply with federal guidelines
- Program Coordination: Lead program activities and implement initiatives that integrate prevention and management of dental disease
- Data Analysis: Collect and interpret data to guide program updates, fulfill reporting needs, and support decisions
- Partner Engagement: Build relationships with health systems, community groups, and government partners to achieve program goals
- Quality Improvement: Review performance data, identify barriers, and implement improvement strategies across programs
- Technical Support: Provide guidance and training to partners and staff based on program expertise

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. You will report to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
