About OrthoVirginia: OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia. We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.
Position Overview: The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.
This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.
Qualifications:- Strong background in Rheumatology
- Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
- Board Certification/Eligibility
- Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure
Common Procedures: - Diagnosis and management of rheumatoid arthritis
- Treatment of osteoarthritis
- Management of lupus and other autoimmune diseases
- Joint injections (corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid)
- Ultrasound-guided procedures
- Management of gout and pseudogout
- Management of fibromyalgia
- Bone density testing and management of osteoporosis
- Infusion therapy for rheumatic diseases

Compensation Range for this position:
$300,000 - $400,000
