Rheumatology Physician/Scientist (MD/DO) - Department of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel HillThe Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology and the Thurston Arthritis Research Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an Open Rank (tenure/tenure track) physician-scientist faculty position. Applicants with a research focus in autoimmunity and/or inflammation relevant to rheumatic diseases are preferable. Applicants will be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate will have his/her primary appointment in the Department of Medicine. He/she will be expected to teach and/or perform clinical service within this department in a manner that is consistent with standard practices for a tenured or tenure-track faculty within the department. Applicants should be seeking a stimulating, interdisciplinary and collaborative environment in which to pursue research, teaching and clinical care.
Requirements: - MD or MD/PhD
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
