Full Job Description
JWO's RFID technologies really change the way our retail customers operate both in-store and back-of-house. Customers need help adapting their infrastructure, tools, and operations to maximize the value they can extract from JWO's RFID technologies. JWO's RFID Team seeks an innovative, solutions-oriented, and process-minded engineer to lead a program that works directly with retail customers, and between product, engineering, and operations teams, to define optimal end-to-end RFID solutions that meet our customer's unique in-store and back-of-house needs. Key job responsibilities • Understand the business/operational needs and challenges of JWO's RFID customers, across our current verticals • Stay current on the features and benefits of JWO's latest RFID products and tools, as well as their constraints and limitations • Provide RFID customers the right (in-store and back-of-house) RFID solution the first time, proven with quantitative before/after data • Adhere to, enforce, and improve our store configuration and launch process, in partnership with sales and implementation teams • Identify any gaps in JWO's RFID product offering and escalate them to our product team for short-term mitigations and long-term solutions • Present customer learnings, process improvements, program updates, and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership on a regular basis using strong written and verbal communication skills. • 25% expected travel based on business needs A day in the life To be successful in this role you will need to be able to quickly learn the business and operational demands of our customers across different business verticals, and reliably define the right complement of RFID-based solutions that deliver demonstrable customer value. As your ability to deliver "the right solution the first time" grows, you will need to be able to define and drive the implementation of scalable processes and tools that ensure new customers continue to get the right solutions as our business and product offerings grow. You will work with senior leaders across the JWO organization, and work directly between sales and implementation teams to define, adhere to, and enforce store launch processes that quickly gather customer requirements and transform them into implementable RFID solutions that can be deployed quickly. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or above in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) - 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization - 5+ years optimizing designs, processes, and/or products in retail and/or engineering - Experience working directly with customers and delivering products/solutions with quantitative impact - Experience and technical background in defining standardized processes and scalable software tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools - Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites - Experience in retail, operations and/or business management - Experience building or using optimization software (system design, multi-step processes)
