Revenue Cycle Manager Position Description

Supervisor:AssistantDirector of Revenue Cycle

Supervisory Responsibilities:MSO Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supports Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle with day-to-day tasks.
  • Supervises team of SBCM Billing Supervisors, billers and authorization specialists.
  • Provides support and guidance for the team of SBSA Billing Managers.
  • Assists with bi-weekly SBCM Billing Supervisors Meetings.
  • Assists with SBSA Billing Managers Meetings.
  • Assists in training and completing annual evaluations on MSO Billing Supervisors.
  • Assists with monitors go-lives for new and existing providers.
  • Works closely with coding and EMR trainers.
  • Responsible for maintaining weekly charge updates from all supervisors and communicates any issues or delays promptly to the Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle.
  • Works as a liaison for CPMP MSO.
  • Ensures that the activities of the MSO operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines and requirements.
  • Reviews and interprets operational data to assess need for procedural revision and enhancements; participates in the design and implementation of specific systems to enhance revenue and operating efficiency.
  • Understands and remains updated with current coding and billing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinates team member time off in a manner that does not negatively impact necessary daily functions.
  • Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Have 4-5 years of experience as a healthcare management professional.
