We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead the Four Winds' Patient Accounts team and be responsible for Accounts Receivable from charge generation to claim submission and collections. The role reports to the Controller and tasked with tracking KPIs such as Days in A/R, reducing claim denials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and payer requirements to maximize net revenue.
The job is in-person onsite at our Westchester Campus in Katonah, NY.
Job highlights:- End-to-End RCM: Manage the complete billing lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely charge entry, claim processing, and payment reconciliation. Complete month-end closing processes to generate general ledger revenue journal. Manage internal and external collection efforts.
- Denial & A/R Management: Track denials, resolve unbilled claims, and execute strategies to keep A/R aging metrics within industry benchmarks.
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate and mentor Patient Accounts Representatives across 2 locations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Managed Care to maintain current payer fee tables and resolve authorization issues.
- Data & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, identify revenue loss trends, monitor and report on bad debt write offs, and present detailed reports to senior management.
- Compliance & Auditing: Enforce regulatory compliance, ensure medical coding accuracy, and adapt policies to changing payer and government mandates.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in medical billing with at least 2 years of experience managing staff.
- Deep understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding, commercial insurance policies, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and EHR/billing platforms (MyAvatar preferred).
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. Understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities for cross-functional collaboration and patient engagement.
Starting salary between $90,000 and $95,000
