Full Job Description
Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Director of AR Resolution supporting day-to-day operations across all AR and back-office functions for our US and Mexico based managed services teams, specializing in resolving complex insurance denials, reducing aged receivables, and accelerating cash flow. This is a strategic role where you'll use your deep industry knowledge and strategic thinking as the business owner for AR Resolution AI solutions. Travel within the US and to Mexico City to guide the near-shore team is required.

Responsibilities

As the Director of AR Resolution, you will focus on resolving complex billing issues, managing high-level client or payer negotiations, and refining cross-departmental operations to ensure accounts are settled efficiently. This will include:
  • Denials Management: Spearhead root-cause analysis for claim denials and underpayments; create strategies to prevent recurring billing errors and optimize the appeals process.
  • Team Leadership: Experience and success in building a productive and collaborative team environment.
  • Payer Negotiations: Lead escalations and negotiations with commercial payers and government entities to resolve high-dollar or stalled accounts.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Utilize revenue cycle software and data analytics to track AR aging buckets, identify trends, and forecast cash collections. Develop and present comprehensive reports on performance, trends, and opportunities to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders of other Revenue Cycle teams (Coding, Patient Access, etc.) to resolve systemic issues at the source.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within large Medical Group Revenue Cycle operations.
  • Background in operating large PFS shops with multiple facilities / clients for a provider or a services firm with a nearshore / offshore component.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving results and a hands-on approach to coaching staff, troubleshooting issues, and setting / executing broader priorities aligned to the business strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in EHR / billing platforms to include Epic and data reporting tools (MS Excel, Tableau).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster a culture of accountability, and achieve measurable results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prior 3rd party Managed Services and/or consulting work experience is a plus.
