Job Description

The Retail Transformation Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, training, and business transformation initiatives across North America. This role partners with field leadership and cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects, improve operational performance, and ensure execution consistency across multiple retail locations. The position also provides operational leadership support within assigned properties as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment of operational and business transformation initiatives across retail locations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, playbooks, and coaching to field leaders and store teams.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, HR, and other business functions to drive sustainable improvements.
  • Analyze business performance data and identify opportunities to improve sales, compliance, labor productivity, and customer experience.
  • Support new store openings, remodels, and operational change initiatives.
  • Coach and develop leaders to strengthen operational capabilities and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide hands-on leadership support for underperforming locations, business transitions, and special projects.

Key Metrics
  • On-time project completion rate.
  • Store readiness sign-off for physical change and transformational programmed changes.
  • Project Punch list closure rate within defined timeline.
  • Transition effectiveness (store performance in first 90 days).


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, airport retail, or other high-volume customer-facing environments.
  • Proven success leading operational improvement, training, change management, and large-scale business initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with experience analyzing performance metrics and implementing solutions.
  • Experience managing multi-unit operations, including sales, profitability, compliance, and workforce performance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting new store openings, remodels, or transformation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout North America (up to 75%).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively, 75% or more of the time, based on business needs, project deployments, training requirements, and field support priorities.
  • Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally, including throughout North America and other business-supported markets as required.
