What you will do

The Project Manager is responsible for leading assigned security projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring profitability, on-time delivery, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate across pre-sales, installation, supply, and customer stakeholders to keep scope, budget, risks, documentation, and handoffs under control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project planning & preparation:Develop the project charter and project plan, define milestones, deliverables, roles, and success criteria, and confirm that all installation-specific requirements are captured.

  • Scope and budget alignment:Work with the pre-sales team to align scope, design, and budget, and ensure all cost components are included for accurate project budgeting.

  • Risk management:Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early, then define practical mitigation actions and recovery options.

  • Project execution:Conduct customer kick-off meetings, transfer finalized design and documentation to installation and coordination teams, and maintain execution cadence through regular internal and customer meetings.

  • Progress tracking and reporting:Maintain internal and customer-facing trackers, progress reports, and schedule updates that reflect current status, variances, and next actions.

  • Site and supply coordination:Proactively manage site readiness, permits, supply issues, and other dependencies by coordinating reschedules or alternative solutions when needed.

  • Change management:Oversee customer-driven scope changes, document the impact on schedule, budget, and resources, and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Project closure:Complete final documentation, obtain customer sign-off, archive records, and manage surplus equipment returns where required.


How You Will Do It
  • Own the project from planning through closeout, keeping safety, integrity, profitability, and customer satisfaction at the center of every decision.

  • Stay close to the workby resolving site readiness, supply, permit, and dependency issues quickly with customers, installers, and internal teams.

  • Use clear cadence and candorthrough kick-off meetings, structured progress reviews, and timely reporting so risks and changes stay visible early.

  • Improve every dayby updating plans when conditions change, learning from issues, and applying practical problem-solving to keep delivery on track.

  • Win as one teamby coordinating pre-sales, installation, documentation, and customer communication with trust, accountability, and shared priorities.


What we look for
  • 5+ years of project management, construction supervision, or field leadership experience, preferably in security, low-voltage, life safety, installation, or technical deployment environments.

  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

  • Experience developing project plans, managing risks and dependencies, and coordinating cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

  • Proficiency with project management tools, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and budgeting or cost-tracking techniques.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to make timely decisions, manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

  • English proficiency required.

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor27s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Master27s degree or PMP certification.

  • Experience with MS Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Teams, SAP, Oracle, or Monday.com.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, PDF editor, and retail loss prevention systems such as RFID, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS), video surveillance, and inventory management platforms.

  • Spanish or French language skills.


HIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,000-138,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
