Job Description:

RESTORE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

• Assist in the restoration of files, profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault
• Willing to work in Data Center to facilitate tape movements for data restores.
• Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and e-mail organization
• Profile and permission structure knowledge
• Resolution and ticket handling awareness to align to SLA obtainment
• Develops, manages and tests backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services.
• Participates in disaster recover drills and business continuity planning.
• Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Creates reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.
• Coordinates with other IT teams to ensure coordinated delivery of IT services.
• Provides recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Critical thinker, Quick Learner, Detail Oriented, and Organizational skills. Ability to work well independently, Verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, and technical support skills.
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements: Provides support to end users and other IT staff by resolving complex hardware, software, and system related issues.
• Must be 8570 compliant with a Security+ Certification
• Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
