- Hours: 10 AM - 6:30 PM; flexible.
- Work Schedule: Open to Full Time (M-F) and Part Time (2-3 per week).
- Driving Distance: Covers roughly 80% of NYC.
Salary range- $47 - $57 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
On-Call transparency- Once-a-month rotation; minimal in-person visits but paid overtime if required.
What you'll do- Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups
- Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
- Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
- Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition
- Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
- Performs other duties as required
What we look for- Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active NY RT license or LPN with Respiratory experience.
- Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
Education- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or LPN with Respiratory experience.
Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations- Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
- Hold a current CPR Certification
- Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
