Full Job Description
Job Summary The Resource Supply Chain Manager is a permanent, high-impact internal who deploys nationwide to our hospital facilities to maintain operational continuity during leadership vacancies or transitions. This role requires an agile leader capable of rapidly assessing local hospital operations, stabilizing inventory, managing on-site logistics teams, and ensuring strict compliance with corporate contracts and healthcare regulations. Essential Functions Directs and develops policies, procedures and standards for procurement. Monitors performance of the materials management systems by reviewing reports of purchasing, warehousing and inventory activity. Directs the preparation of the supplies budget for all service units in the medical center, and analyzes expenditure patterns and usage trends. Directs and evaluates performance of staff responsible for the preparation of vendor agreements, determination of efficient utilization of storage space. Responsible for hire and termination decisions of supervised staff. Establishes and implements controls to ensure appropriate submission, billing and payment cycles. Ensures that accurate and timely billing is being done by staff members in accordance with established procedure and third-party requirements. Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards. Promotes adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues. Ensures that the MM employees receive compliance training and all education necessary to perform their job responsibilities, as required by the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement. Assists in drafting the facility's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) to set the annual goals for recruiting and retaining women and minorities and ensures that all employees are trained in and adheres to the principles of AAP. Adheres to and promotes Equal Employment Opportunity and the facility's Affirmative Action Plan. Serves as the facility's Equal Employment Coordinator for Affirmative Action. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (eg Excel, Word, and SharePoint) Must have good and regular attendance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
