Job DescriptionSupply Chain Resilience Program Manager Ford is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Supply Chain Resilience Program Manager to lead the development and execution of end-to-end supply chain resilience initiatives across our global value chain. This critical role is responsible for driving strategies that strengthen the structural integrity, continuity, and adaptability of Ford's supply network, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of components and materials that support vehicle production.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional workstreams spanning all major vehicle systems, including Electrical, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain, and Chassis, while partnering with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Supplier Technical Assistance teams. This role offers exceptional visibility, including regular executive-level reviews and presentations to the Vice President of Supply Chain and other senior leadership stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, analytical rigor, strong program management capabilities, and executive communication skills to drive transformational initiatives that improve Ford's resilience against supply disruptions, geopolitical risks, capacity constraints, financial instability, and other emerging threats.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...Enterprise Resilience Strategy- Develop and execute supply chain resilience strategies that strengthen Ford's end-to-end supply network.
- Establish and maintain resilience frameworks, governance models, and risk management processes across the full value chain.
- Identify structural vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans to improve continuity and operational stability.
- Drive long-term initiatives that reduce exposure to single-source dependencies, capacity constraints, geographic concentration risks, and supplier financial instability.
Program Leadership- Lead a portfolio of high-impact resilience workstreams across Electrical, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain, and Chassis systems.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in supply chain resilience.
- Manage timelines, milestones, risk registers, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
- Ensure alignment between resilience objectives and Ford's overall manufacturing, sourcing, and product development strategies.
Risk Identification and Mitigation- Conduct proactive assessments of supplier, sub-tier, logistics, and material supply risks.
- Partner with Purchasing and Engineering organizations to identify critical components, technologies, and supply chain bottlenecks.
- Develop mitigation strategies including dual sourcing, localization, capacity expansion, inventory optimization, and contingency planning.
- Monitor emerging risks related to geopolitical events, trade policy changes, natural disasters, labor disruptions, and supplier performance.
Executive Communication & Governance- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Provide regular updates to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team.
- Translate complex supply chain risks into actionable business insights and strategic decision recommendations.
- Lead governance forums and facilitate decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement- Utilize data analytics and risk intelligence tools to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics that measure resilience effectiveness across suppliers, commodities, and vehicle programs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain visibility, transparency, and responsiveness.

QualificationsYou'll have...- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Consulting, or Program Management.
- Highly proficient in in AI use

- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate large datasets and identify strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling and influence.
- Proven ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline).
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or complex global supply chains.
- Knowledge of supplier risk management, resilience planning, and business continuity principles.
- Experience working with executive leadership and governance forums.
- Understanding of vehicle systems and automotive component supply networks.
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics, visualization, and risk monitoring tools.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
This position is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite four or more days per week.
