As a Junior Site Superintendent, you will support the Site Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of the construction site. Your responsibilities will include helping to ensure the project is progressing according to plans, specifications, safety regulations, and timelines. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in construction who is ready to step into a leadership role and grow within a dynamic and experienced team.
Your contributions to the team:- Assist in managing site operations to ensure construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
- Support coordination of trades and subcontractors on-site
- Help monitor construction progress and address any issues or delays
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to planning and scheduling
- Ensure work is being completed in accordance with company policies and safety standards
What you need to be successful:- 3 - 5 years of construction experience in 4-storey wood frame, multi-family construction
- Excellent organization and management skills to achieve time efficiency and work deadlines
- Demonstrated ability in leadership, decision making and taking ownership
- Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of all building techniques, building codes, and safety regulations associated with the construction of multi-story apartment buildings
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural schematics
- Willingness to travel across Site locations
