Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience in managing construction projects of various sizes ($500K to $5 million).
• Valid driver's license required for travel to multiple sites.
• Experience in managing Parks projects is a plus.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Must be flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the daily construction manager for assigned projects, ensuring smooth operations.
• Coordinate with facility forces and stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and minimally impact operations.
• Understand and apply contract clauses to effectively manage project administration and policy enforcement.
• Advise on contractor disputes and facilitate resolution through the appropriate administrative processes.
• Oversee field staff to ensure proper documentation and installation progress of construction projects.
• Review contractor payments and assist in monthly reporting on construction progress and financial health.
• Identify and escalate potential project issues to the Senior Resident Engineer.
