As a Reservoir Engineer Advisor III, you will bring your deep technical knowledge and innovative mindset to support drilling initiatives in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Hainesville, Appalachia, and beyond. Your insights into reservoir simulation, risk assessment, and economic analysis will be invaluable as we ramp up drilling activities and drive growth in these key regions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in unconventional reservoirs within the oil & gas industry
- Proven expertise in reservoir modeling, simulation (especially Combo Curve), and technical evaluations
- Strong understanding of reservoir management practices, pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) studies, and core analysis
- Ability to lead complex technical projects, mentor less experienced engineers, and facilitate team collaborations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated problem-solver capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with reservoir evaluation in the Delaware and Permian basins
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in oil & gas operations
- Advanced proficiency in software tools such as Combo Curve and other reservoir simulation programs
- Prior involvement in peer reviews and technical audits of reservoir models
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in unconventional reservoir engineering
- Demonstrated success in supporting large-scale drilling and field development projects
