Team Introduction: The Seed-AI for Science team applies AI to drive breakthroughs in scientific computing research paradigms, focusing on biological foundation models, quantum chemistry, and molecular dynamics. We are looking for candidates to join our team and conduct cutting-edge research in fundamental science, leveraging advanced machine learning techniques and large-scale computational infrastructure. Topic Content: Exploring research related to biomolecular design, quantum chemistry, multimodal large models for biomolecular structures, and machine learning-driven molecular dynamics. 1. Biomolecular Design: Developing multimodal foundational large models for the natural sciences, applied to the design, conformation generation, and structure prediction of proteins, DNA, RNA, and other biomolecules. 2. Quantum Chemistry: Conducting interdisciplinary research at the intersection of machine learning, quantum physics, and quantum chemistry to enable large-scale, high-precision scientific computing and numerical simulations. 3. Multimodal Biomolecular Structure Large Models: Building structure-centric multimodal large models for biomolecules, using a unified architecture to support key tasks including complex structure prediction, functional modeling, and molecular design. 4. Machine Learning Molecular Dynamics: Exploring the application of machine learning methods in force field development, molecular dynamics simulations, enhanced sampling, and other property calculation approaches, and scaling these for applications in drug discovery and materials discovery. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of machine learning and scientific computing, exploring applications of AI in scientific domains such as physics and chemistry. 2. Develop large-scale numerical simulations for scientific computing, improving computational efficiency and accuracy. 3. Qualification

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or related fields. 2. Solid foundation in mathematics and strong programming skills. 3. Demonstrated ability for independent research and innovation, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. 4. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $218400 - $480000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
