Position Summary
This position is responsible for leadership oversight and delivery of pre-award, non-financial post-award services, and post award monitoring in support of all sponsored programs activity for the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC) and Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer (EI). Will oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative management of staff performing department pre- and post-award activities for sponsored projects.

1) Position requires excellent organization and communication skills, ability to
to work under pressure situations and deadlines, and have the ability to work with
challenging individuals and properly handle sensitive situations
2) Ability to research and locate agencies funding guidelines and instructions. Able to interpret,
and explain regulations, policies and procedures related to grant and contract submission and administration.
3) Proficiency in spreadsheets is essential. Provide comprehensive information to Director and Administrators upon request

Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Preferred Experience:
Accounting experience which includes analysis and monitoring of sponsored projects, effort reports and related payroll funding changes, and financial reporting.
Prior experience in research laboratory management would be beneficial.
