Full Job Description
Responsibilities*

1. Ensure GI accounts are properly reconciled using M-Reports, M-Pathways, eReconciliation and other reporting tools.

2. Review business practices as they relate to post-award research administration, identify areas for improvement, and implement plans. Offer guidance on best practices related to post-award management.

3. Meet regularly with Financial Manager to review research portfolios, providing detailed analysis of accounts including reviewing expenses and encumbrances for appropriateness. Process journal entries and effort changes as needed.

4. Attend meetings with Clinical Trial Support Unit post-award administrator and faculty to provide oversight of Division clinical trials.

5. Set up new awards including subprojects, subcontracts, and hardship requests.

6. Interact with ORSP, Sponsored Programs, Shared Services, and sponsors as required.

7. Review and approve travel and expense reports, subcontract invoices, HSIP payments, and post-award change requests.
